What is Blue Anti-Glaze Rubber Compound?

A natural rubber used as belting cover material, this resilient anti-glaze compound offers chemical and abrasion resistance and excellent dispersion for smooth surface finishes. The thermal resistance of Blue Anti-Glaze Rubber Compound ranges from -10°C to 105°C (14°F to 221°F). Though not recommend for use near petroleum and related substances, this compound is highly resistant to other chemicals, including ethylene, alcohol, water, and glycol. Here are some specifications of the Blue Anti-Glaze Rubber Compound:

  • Color: Blue
  • Polymer: Natural Rubber
  • Hardness (Shore-A): 40 ± 5
  • Abrasion Resistance: Good
  • Specific Gravity: 0.98 to 1.02
  • Tensile: 2000 psi min.
  • Elongation: 560% min.
  • Mooney Viscosity: 17.4 (ML 1+4)
  • Compression Set Rebound: Low
